2024 UPS AND DOWNS AND FUN TIMES
2024 took a few months to get rolling but by season's end it was another great time. By McQuades we already had 2 rain outs and a bye the week of the 4th of July. We had a decent run at McQuades, a surprise run to the championship at the Miller Lite 10 years from the last Miller lite championship we made. Won the first 2 games of the League Tourney. Defeated McQuade Runner's Up Titan twice at state. But kinda ended with a thud with a 4th place finish at Last Chance. Still was beautiful weather and good friends at Last Chance. This year we played 41 games tied 2nd all time for most Spur games in a year. 19 wins - Oh so close to 20. 3rd all time in wins. New hats were the GOAT of the team hats, so much so I mad the executive decision to possibly keep the hats as the full time Spur/Danbomsoftball.com hats. They paired with every uni perfectly. George's took over old DTE corner, so hanging out just on the hill on 3 and along the 1st base side of 1 was a great time. Saturday at McQuades hanging out in the trees after the games was enjoyable, since the weather was so crappy from the beginning of May until McQuades. Like every year it was a tad bit different than the rest but a blast. And now the worst part of the season, till next year fellas! New things in store for next year...

2024 : LET'S GO LADIES!!
HEY! Here it is. Another season is upon us! Bad News: Back to the top league! Good News: Only 1 super team is left after a #MERGER. Long time rival Army's is now Busch Light since Jackson sold off Army's and now its "Final Final". Hats...Yeah they're gonna look good. When they get here of course. In my defense I ordered em earlier than I ever have so yeah. Yes there's a new site comin'. Yeah Yeah, I know I've been saying that for a few years, but I actually have been working on one this spring, unlike past years I didn't even start. So basically until danbomsoftball.com v3.0 goes live all I'm going to update is the homepage. In Roster News for the first time ever, The Spur (/danbomsoftball.com) lost noone on the roster from the 2023 roster! Everyone is back!
